Terms of service

INKD helps you track location sales reports, royalties owed, payments, reminders and related records. Import a CSV or XLSX spreadsheet, map your columns, then review locations and agreement terms before going live. Setup time depends on your data and agreements.

INKD tracks money but never moves it. INKD does not collect, hold, transfer or process royalty payments. Your locations keep paying you directly, and you record those payments in INKD.

INKD is software, not a law firm, accountant or auditor. Calculations follow the agreement terms and sales figures entered into it. Nothing in INKD, including answers from the AI assistant, is legal, tax or accounting advice. Check important figures and agreement terms with your own advisers.

INKD helps licensors track royalties and flags possible problems. It does not guarantee that it will catch every late report, short payment or underreported sale.

Flags, including possible underreporting, are signals to look into, not proof that a location did anything wrong. You decide how to investigate and what action to take.

INKD's numbers are only as accurate as the sales reported by your locations and the agreement terms you enter or confirm. This includes terms read from PDF agreements: you must review and confirm them before relying on them.

You are responsible for checking statements, invoices and amounts before relying on them, and for following your own agreements and the law when collecting royalties.

To the extent the law allows, INKD is not liable for royalties that go unreported, unpaid or uncollected, or for lost profits or indirect damages. Our total liability is capped at the fees you paid for INKD in the 12 months before the claim. This does not limit rights or liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

While founding spots remain, founding customers pay $9,997 for year one, then $14,997/year, plus any tax. The founding price is limited to the first 10 customers. After that, the price is $14,997/year, plus any tax.

Prices are in US dollars and are charged in advance for each year. Tax is added at checkout where it applies.

Your subscription renews automatically every year at the regular price of $14,997/year, plus any tax, charged to your payment method on file at the start of each new year, until you cancel. You agree to yearly auto-renewal at checkout.

You can cancel anytime by emailing support@inkdroyalties.com. Cancelling stops the next renewal. Access runs to the end of your paid year.

Full refund within 30 days of your first purchase. Renewals aren't refunded. See the refund policy.

Payments for your INKD subscription are processed by Dodo Payments as merchant of record. INKD never sees your full card details.

You are responsible for the people you invite, including team members and locations, and for keeping login details secure. Locations only see their own data and accept short portal terms on their first login.

Support is answered 24/7 by INKD's AI assistant. Its answers can be wrong; if it can't help, contact support@inkdroyalties.com.

You own the data you put into INKD. We process it only to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy and the Data Processing Addendum. INKD's policy is that customer data is not authorized for AI model training.

Your data stays available as a read-only export for 30 days after your account ends. We email warnings 7 days and 1 day before deletion. After that, we delete your account data. Billing, terms and login records are retained for 2 years. Backups are purged within 30 days of deletion. See the privacy policy.

Do not use INKD for anything unlawful, try to access another business's data, or interfere with the service.

To the extent the law allows, INKD is provided as is, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for INKD in the 12 months before the claim.

If we change these terms, we will update the version and date at the top of this page.
